Drake confirmed on Monday that he will release his sixth studio album, ‘Certified Lover Boy,’ on Friday, 9/3. Drake shared the news on social media alongside cover art for the album, which features 12 pregnant mom emojis. The 34-year-old singer and rapper had teased the release date in a clip that aired on ESPN’s SportsCenter last week, which showed a fan holding a sign that read “CLB September 3.”
Drake announced he was working on Certified Lover Boy in August 2020, but its release date was delayed for months. Certified Lover Boy will be Drake’s first full-length album since Scorpion was released in 2018; he most recently released the EP Scary Hours 2 in March.
